- Open: Estlcam can open the following file types:
- .dxf / .plt - DXF or HPGL drawings:
Opening a DXF or HPGL drawing will start a regular 2d / 2.5d project...
Following this you can start creating toolpaths with the functions at the left window border
- .e25 - Estlcam 2.5d project file:
Opens a previously saved 2d / 2.5d project...
You can then resume editing the project or create a CNC program...
- .stl - 3d model:
Opening a STL file will automatically start Estlcams 3d milling module...
- .jpg / .png / .gif - pictures :
Opening pictures will automatically start the picture milling module...
- .nc - CNC programs :
Starts the integrated CNC controller (if properly configured and activated)...
- Save / Save as:
- 2d / 2.5d projects can be saved for later use...
- The 3d and picture milling modules do not allow saving...
- Save CNC program:
- Creates the final CNC program for 2d / 2.5d and picture projects...
- The 3d module creates the CNC program directly in the last step...
- Machine project now:
In you've activated Estlcams integrated CNC controller you can use this to load the CNC program directly into the controller...
